Elon Musk Addresses 200 Volkswagen Executives After Surprise Call Joining

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is well-known for his ‘out-there’ personality and we all know he is not scared of sharing his opinions. Volkswagen executive Herbert Diess, invited Musk to address 200 of VW’s top executives at a recent meeting as he felt that hearing from Musk might be just what his employees need to spur them on toward the electric future.

Elon Musk delivered a speech to the crowd via video and took several queries. When asked why Tesla has outsold its competitors in the electric vehicle market, Musk responded that it was due to their management approach and the fact that Elon Musk, as well as many other top Tesla executives, are engineers. As a result, they have an excellent eye for production, supply chains, and overall logistics.

To match the progress of Tesla, Diess said that he was looking forward to visiting the firm’s new Giga Berlin plant and that others would now have to up their game. Production at Giga Berlin will begin in December, with the $6.8 billion facility expected to house over 8,000 workers.
