Elon Musk’s journey with Twitter has been a bumpy one to say the least, especially with the recent news that Musk is pulling out of the $44 billion deal. On top of this, the Tesla CEO is now creating memes against the social media company.
It all started when Musk registered his interest to purchase Twitter in order to sort the social media platforms bot problem and promote free speech. Twitter offered Musk a place on the board but he turned this down and put forward an offer to purchase the company instead. At first, it looked as though this was going to be declined as the company wasn’t even for sale when he out the offer in, but nevertheless, the deal was agreed at $44 billion.
Musk has brought up a few issues since the deal was agreed such as the problem with bots which he has been talking about for some time. And now, at the end of last week, Musk revealed that he didn’t want to go ahead with the deal. Twitter are threatening to take Musk to court to force him to go ahead with the purchase. This has led Musk to create the following meme for his Twitter followers:

While the whole thing has become quite petty, it’s going to be very interesting to see if Twitter go ahead with taking Musk to court or not and if he will be forced into carrying on with the deal or perhaps paying the $1 billion break-up fee, which was previously arranged.
