The Wall Street Journal has revealed that the attorney has not been let go yet so Tesla has been looking into getting counsel work elsewhere, as has SpaceX. This all began when Musk took a disliking to an attorney at Cooley who had moved from US Securities and Exchange Commission where he had questioned Musk during an investigation into the claim he made in 2018 that he could take Tesla private.
Elon Musk is no stranger to disputes, with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) among his most recent foes. He has also had running battles with Elizabeth Warren, Jeff Bezos, a cave diver, and even his own father. One of the most asked questions is if these spats help push Musk’s businesses or not. Regardless of the answer to that, it doesn’t seem to stop Musk taking fire at people and he is certainly not scared to speak his mind.
It’s difficult to say who will be under fire next but it seems to be clear that this won’t be the last feud we hear about.
