Tesla Model 3 Autoparking Walkthrough

Cars these days are big. And while the Tesla Model 3 isn’t the biggest of cars, or even Teslas, it can be a challenge to park on days of low visibility. Or sometimes, maybe you just can’t be bothered.

Fortunately for those of you who don’t want to bother parking the car yourself, you can ask it to do it for you. Take a watch of the video below to see the ins and outs.

As the video says, you just drive close to the cars you want to park between so it can perform a scan on those cars’ positions. It works via its ultrasonic sensors so you don’t have to worry about blinding light etc.

Press the start button and it will commence parking.

NOTE: As it uses ultrasonic data, it parks between the two cars it has scanned, not between the lines.

If anything obstructs its movement, it will stop and ask you to confirm before it will carry on, but it will do all the movements for you with the driver not having to touch the pedals or the steering wheel. We are firmly in the future now, folks!
