The Tesla Model 3 configurator has been updated for the China market, and it’s given us a glimpse into what could be coming to the rest of the world if we cross our fingers. These changes are currently only to be fulfilled by the Giga-Shanghai Model 3s, and include a host of interior updates and additional features.
A Model 3 Dual Motor AWD Performance comes with a racing kit, which will include the following:
- 19” zero-gravity high-performance wheels
- Advanced braking device, carbon fibre spoiler
- Lower suspension,
- Aluminium pedals
- Track Mode
- A top speed of 261 km/hr (162mph)
A MIC Model 3 SR Plus RWD kit is also available, which focusses on premium features such as heated front seats, a higher quality seat material and trim pieces, a higher performance sound system, and four USB ports in the centre console alongside wireless charging. On top of this, the Model 3 Performance also comes with a heated steering wheel, an advanced sound system consisting of 14 speakers, 1 subwoofer, and 2 amplifiers, LED fog lights, and atmospheric interior lighting.
The Standard Range Plus RWD car starts at a price of ¥249,900, which is $38,251.95 USD before estimated savings. The Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor AWD Performance model costs ¥ 339,900, or$52,028.16 before potential savings.
