EV conversions are on the rise with the dramatic increase in fuel costs and ongoing maintenance costs of gas-powered cars. As well as the practical side, it gives owners a chance to revive their old classic cars.
Although there are so many amazing examples of EV conversions out there, we have put together our top five conversions that we have seen recently.
5. Classic Mini
London Electric Cars (LEC) have converted this old classic Mini. The LEC team have carried out various different EV conversions including classic Land Rover’s and Volkswagen’s.
Now, in terms of the practicality of an electric vehicle, this Mini isn’t the best example with it only offering a range between 40 and 100 miles. However, it’s hard to resist the old classic Mini. It features 3.3kW and 6.6kW charging options.
According to LEC, the price starts at £35,000 excluding VAT.
4. Ford GT40
UK based company, Everrati, has converted this beautiful Ford GT40 replica which was built by Superformance.
