Tesla Model S Plaid Widebody Is Finally Here As It Wows Fans

Competition Carbon has released the first designs of a widebody kit for the Tesla Model S Plaid which is due to make an appearance at the 2022 SEMA Show.

The kit significantly lowers the car and includes air intakes, extended side skirts, custom rims, front and rear wheel arches, diffusers and a tail wing.

Competition Carbon specialises in “custom built and tailored carbon fibre aero packages for the highest degree of competition”. So far they have created packages for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 and the Lamborghini Huracan, and are now branching out to their first electric vehicle project with the Model S Plaid.

Whilst the images released at this time are renderings, the bodykit looks impressive so far and fans are all over it.

One follower commented “Take my money now!!! When does preorder open?”, to which Competition Carbon replied saying that the first will be built for a client for SEMA in Las Vegas this November, and then delivery for the second kit will be right after the show.

With many fans asking how much this will cost, the US based company are keeping quiet on this at the moment so it will be interesting to see where they price this at on release.
