Elon Musk Trolls Twitter As He Doubles ‘Burnt Hair’ Perfume Sales In Less Than A Day
Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced his latest business venture in the form of a perfume. Like he said to his Twitter followers, how could he not with his surname?
The perfume, Burnt Hair, is under The Boring Company and Musk made revealed that it had sold over 10,000 bottles at $100 each, so has just broken $1 million in sales. Musk made the announcement on Twitter, saying:
“10,000 bottles of Burnt Hair sold!
“Can’t wait for media stories tomorrow about $1M of Burnt Hair sold”

As expected the momentum has kept going and just a day later Musk has confirmed that they have doubled the 10,000 sales and are now on 20,000, making that $2million in sales. He kept it short and sweet on Twitter, simply saying: “20,000!!”

Musk has been his usual self on Twitter, promoting the perfume in his hilarious way. It was recently reported that he had made a u-turn with his purchase of Twitter where he has now agreed to pay the original price. Musk made a nod to this by saying:
“Please buy my perfume, so I can buy Twitter”

Musk has also changed his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman”.
As this is still early days for the product, it will be interesting to see where the sales go to over the next few weeks and also to see the reviews coming in about what fans think of the perfume.
