Tesla Cybertruck On-Track For 2023 Summer Release: “Our Best Product Ever”
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has confirmed that they are still on track to launch the Cybertruck in the summer of 2023.
Musk revealed during the company’s second-quarter financial report that:
“We are still expecting to be in production with the Cybertruck in middle of next year,”
“We’re very excited about that product. It might actually be our best product ever.”
This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as the latest prototypes have been seen being tested recently. During the financial report, Musk explained that the delays in production for the Cybertruck have meant that it will benefit from everything the company has learnt on increasing efficiency during manufacturing.
Musk added:
“We’ll bring another level of simplicity and manufacturing improvements with Cybertruck and future products that we’re not quite ready to talk about now, but that I think will be very exciting to unveil in the future.”
Tesla plan to produce the Cybertruck at the Austin Gigafactory, partly because Texas has the biggest marker for pickup trucks in the U.S. Musk has also revealed that they have been focussing on the design of the trucks platform and getting it ready for production.
Roll on summer 2023.
